The thin-lipped Hollywood actor Clint Eastwood has opened up on his bizarre speech at the Republican National Convention last month in two televised interviews. "The Democrats who were watching thought I was going senile", said Eastwood, "and the Republicans knew I was."
Mitt Romney will also be less than pleased to hear Eastwood's view on his selection a speaker: "If somebody's dumb enough to ask me to go to a political convention and say something, they're gonna have to take what they get".
Adding to the dismay of right-wing Eastwood fans, the actor appeared to lend his support for gay marriage in an interview on the Ellen DeGeneres show.
