As the House of Lords prepares to vote on a Labour proposal to ban smoking in cars carrying children, pro-and-anti tobacco groups have argued their cases with a variety of statistics.

We’ve compiled our own research in a graphic, showing how children are effected by second-hand smoke and what conclusions can be drawn about the impact second-hand smoke has on a child’s life.
