Poll: Nigella Lawson is right, crying or shouting in the office is unacceptable
28 February 2013 10:28 AM
In an interview with US magazine Newsweek, Nigella Lawson said: "I don't like women crying in offices, but then I'm not crazy about men crying in offices either. I did send my boss home once for crying in the office. Even if I'm exhausted to the point of weeping I wouldn't. I'm proud and I never cry."
Do you agree that it's never okay to express extreme emotions in the office? Is shouting to get your point across acceptable? Are there any professional advantages to crying at work?
