Scratch and sniff cannabis cards to be distributed - but do you know what it smells like?

Pot, weed, ganja, dope, doobie, spliff, grass, reefer, draw, mary jane, joint...

Whatever you call it, there's been a 15 per cent increase in cannabis husbandry (that's farming to you and me) since 2011.

In the hope of tackling the illegal habit, Crimestoppers are sending thousands of rural homes a leaflet explaining how to spot signs that someone nearby is growing the stuff.

And in a mark of genius, they are offering scratch 'n' sniff cards, so they can get a whiff to help recognise the smell.
