The seventh and final series of Aaron Sorkin's hit political drama The West Wing aired on US television in 2006. But now, after six years, they're back.

And the cause that has reunited President Bartlett, CJ Cregg and Josh Lyman et al? It's Bridget Mary McCormack, a professor at the University of Michigan Law School who's running for Michigan's Supreme Court on a nonpartisan ticket.

McCormack also happens to be the sister of Mary McCormack who plays Kate Harper in the show.

More importantly the four-minute ad features walking and talking and geeky in-jokes aplenty. Oh yes.
