Apostrophes.

Are they little sprinkles of grammatical joy, or mini daggers of confusion?

In 2008, a survey showed the apostrophe was the punctuation mark that caused the most frustration for Britons.

Some people even dedicate their lives to ensuring the correct use of apostrophes. There's an Apostrophe Protection Society, which was formed in 2001. The Apostrophe Vigilante has encouraged Twitter followers to write in with heinous examples of apostrophe abuse for the five years. And last year David Marsh created the first International Apostrophe Day.

We've all shown an apostrophe neglect at some point. But when it comes to the nitty gritty, do you know your its from your it's?
