Sir: In his letter of 30 December, Ken Wright, Assistant Managing Director of Royal Mail, assures first and second deliveries of mail to their customers. Unfortunately, this service is not extended to us, as the Royal Mail ceased to deliver to this address on 4 January 1991, claiming their vans would be damaged on our road.

This is not true, as an assortment of vehicles, from cattle trucks to mini cars, drive over it.

The farm is two miles from the centre of Bath.
