Sir: Today you published a host of correspondence declaring the value of theology in setting human agendas, and, in Susan Howatch's words, 'leading human beings out of darkness'. In ironic juxtaposition are three letters concerning the Warrington bombing - damning evidence of what happens in real life when people's agendas are determined by theological values. QED.
