Letter: An unacceptable anti-strike voice

Sir: The opening paragraph in Charles Hanson's article 'Keep rolling back union power' (8 September) pointed out both bad management and union practices and made me read on for possible solutions.

However, I soon discovered that it only looked to the unions for change and did not even mention the much-publicised inflated management salaries. Should we not look at all aspects of industry in order to bring about change and improvement?

Luckily there is a ray of hope to be found elsewhere in the same issue: 'Procter chief takes bonus cut'.
