Letter: Blair's Apology
Sir: Hugh J Thomson (letter, 18 November) suggests that Tony Blair has earned the respect of the public with his apology for the Formula One scandal.
Mr Blair should be judged by his actions, not his words. A two-minute apology does not make up for another broken promise. It is foolish to tell politicians that whatever they do is all right as long as they apologise for it afterwards, whether they are only human or not.
