Letter: Bouquets and a brickbat for Agassi

Sir: Your picture of Andre Agassi (6 July), in his moment of triumph at Wimbledon, is strongly reminiscent of one published back in May 1943, of a member of the Afrika Korps in his moment of defeat at Tunis.

There is a difference, of course - the latter, after some two years of hard fighting in the desert, had some excuse for his appearance.
