Letter: European credentials

Sir: Your column Eurofile on 16 August describes the Evening Standard as one of 'Britain's obsessively anti-European Union newspapers'.

Funny that: I have been accused, until now, of being obsessively pro-European Union.

I suggest that Eurofile, which, in the same item accuses others of creating European myths, takes care that it does not establish new European myths all of its own.
