Letter: Jobs at Hanson Trust

Sir: Given that Lord Hanson (Letters, 12 November) is in a position to quantify his comments on the cost on job creation of social legislation from his personal experience, I was surprised that he did not do so.

Perhaps he could estimate for us the amount of jobs he has created (accounting for those that had to go through rationalisation) in the companies he has owned through Hanson Trust on either side of the Atlantic over the past 10 years

or so.
