IN VIEW of the 'limited confidence' in the reliability of GCSE grades, expressed by HMI, will Seretary of State for Education John Patten now announce the cancellation of the exam-results league tables?

Will he also order an inquiry into the reliability of the Standard Assessment Tasks?
