Sir: Aren't you celebrating Dorothy Parker's centenary a little prematurely? Didn't she share her birthday with Claude Debussy, Leni Riefenstahl and Steve Davis (22 August) rather than with the Rev W. A. Spooner, Terence Stamp and Jimmy Hill?
