Letter: Motorcycles for everyday journeys: fast and fun, or dangerous?

Sir: Russell Bulgin's article on motorcycling is absolutely correct. This point of view has been promoted over recent years by the Motorcycle Retailers Association, British Motorcyclist Federation, Motorcycle Action Group, etc, but this is the first time it has been given such prominence by a quality paper.

As I travel into central London every day and pass an endless stream of cars stuck in jams with the driver as the sole occupant, isn't it time that more use of motorcycles (large and small) is

encouraged?

Yours sincerely,

TIM CROWTHER
