Letter: Paul Foot and the bunnies

CAPTAIN MOONLIGHT is surprised that Paul Foot has no time for animal rights (2 October). But Mr Foot is a member of the Socialist Workers' Party. These irrepressible Trotskyites believe that if animals are to have any rights, they have to fight to win them for themselves. The question is, when he sees 50,000 placard-wielding bunnies hopping down Piccadilly on their way to a demonstration in Trafalgar Square, will Paul Foot be for or against them?
