YOUR NEWS that the Home Office may take a pragmatic approach to prisoner sex ('Prisoners a step nearer to having condoms', 28 February) is very welcome. In Spanish prisons condoms are left in small baskets in communal areas and conjugal rooms. Prisoners can help themselves without having to identify their sexual persuasions.
