Letter: Real winners in the lottery
Sir: It would be wonderful if the Secretary of State decreed that all new buildings subsidised by lottery funds achieved the highest standards of design, construction and performance (letter, 25 May).
It would be even more wonderful if this meant that all the new buildings would be fully accessible to anybody with a disability, thus compensating disabled people a little for the failure of the Civil Rights Bill.
Cricket pavilions should be included - and entry through the front door please; we're fed up having to go round the back and ring a bell.
Yours faithfully,
DINAH LLOYD
