Robert Key is wrong in claiming that he has the backing of Salisbury district council for the proposed A36 Salisbury bypass. On Monday, the council agreed by a majority of 35 to 17 to request the Secretary of State to re-open the public inquiry into the bypass, in light of new information relating to its environmental impact.
