Letter: 'Slow death' of St Bartholomew's: tragic or beneficial?

Sir: 'Bart's faces slow death in hospital reforms' (16 December). Maybe the birds will come home to roost and the 'slow death' will be that of the reputation of the Minister for Health. Meanwhile I am wearing a badge depicting a ferocious cat and the words: 'Save Bart's: Close Down Virginia Bottomley.' Maybe now, Christmastide, is the time for prayer?
