Letter: Some of our bugs are catching a late flight

Sir: Flying insects were late this year because of the cold spring. Our barbecue last Saturday was plagued by thousands of cockchafer beetles, otherwise known as 'May Bugs'. Your correspondent needn't worry - the flying insects are on their way, if a few weeks later than we expect them.

Yours faithfully,
