'SERIAL monogamy'? What a misnomer] ('Is 'forever' still for ever?', 12 July.) In most cases it is not even marriage. 'Serial polygamy' would be more accurate. The most alarming feature of the article was its brazen, consumerist language. Even 'partners' are now disposable (but biodegradable]). Is eating people no longer wrong?
