LETTER: Tripping up over drugs

COLE MORTON misrepresented Tip records in his article "Goa dance and LSD craze sweeps clubs" (29 October). We agreed to give an hour of our time to talk to him for what he had told us would be a "positive" article.

We told him that acid or any other drug was not an important part of what we were involved with. In fact, we stated that many people on this scene do not take drugs at all. We would now like to disassociate ourselves from any comments about drugs. The quotes that were attributed to us were taken from an "off the record" casual chat and were therefore used in a way which was completely out of context.
