Letter: We should care about children's interests, not money
I AM appalled by any local authority that would consider taking a child from a mother for any reason other than wilful neglect or cruelty. I would not begrudge any amount of money to keep a family together. Until we learn to value things that do not have a financial value we are doomed as a society.
