Sir: It would seem that here in Norfolk some people will go to any lengths to get The Independent. On 1 February, I bought my copy, then drove to Sandringham to take my dog for a walk. On returning to the car, I found it had been broken into and the only thing missing from my shopping basket was The Independent.
