LETTERS: Call of nature
Sir: I was dismayed to read Ross Mackie's remark (report, 8 April) that travellers on Great Western Railway may or even should use their mobile telephones in the quiet seclusion of the lavatories - a shocking waste of expensive and much-needed facilities. GWR having planted this insidious idea in the minds of mobile phone enthusiasts should forthwith install efficient jamming devices.
