l SO walking is no longer an inferior form of transport. Hooray for John Gummer. Let's have a new Ministry for Walking, with 200 or so over-paid managers, walking counsellors, registered chiropodists, privatised pavement schemes and an offer of share options. I propose John Cleese as its minister.
