LETTER
SKYE, now joined at the hip to the mainland, thereby loses its island status so that a projected 20,000 cars a day can cross over, only to continue the spoiling of a truly wild area (" `Yesterday I walked to Skye' ", 11 June). In time, Skye inhabitants will no doubt regret their loss of individuality - and peace.
