MARIAN Kamlish, an ex-teacher (Letters January 30), says 'encourage the passion, and let the punctuation etc, take the hindmost'.
Why should the one preclude the other? One may wonder how many now suffer because they still cannot complete a form, or produce a comprehensible report.
