The meeting of Greenpeace "veterans" was not set up to blast the organisation ("Greenpeace `fatcat' leaders condemned by founders", 3 November). It was supported by the executive director of Greenpeace International, and its purpose was to help the organisation, as it takes a long-term view of its work.
