LETTERS: Smiles say it

I have said for ages that living in London is hell because everybody is so angry ("Temper, temper", Real Life, 2 June). But in Norfolk, which has a very low unemployment rate, people readily exchange smiles and chat, and on the roads the "After you", "No, after you" tradition prevails. You don't need a degree to work it out.
