THE 1993 sea-change starts today, when Uranus and Neptune come together in Capricorn. This remarkable planetary line-up last occurred in 1821, also in Capricorn, and a historical parallel can be drawn. In 1820-21, republicanism flourished in England as the monarchy was dragged through the mud. The Prince Regent, soon to become George IV, tried to prevent his estranged wife, Caroline, from becoming Queen. The scandal culminated in her unsuccessful attempt to force her way into Westminster Abbey for the coronation.
