Rapper Rich the Kid and his entourage have been “attacked” in an armed robbery, according to reports.

The musician was at stood outside Westlake Recording Studio in Los Angeles, when shots were fired. Usher was inside the building at the time of the incident.

It’s reported that the gunman was running away from the studio when he began shooting behind him. TMZ claims Rich the Kid was the target of the robbery.

Law enforcement officials told TMZ that he is “doing okay” after the robbery.

It remains unclear whether anyone was hurt during the attack.

The surrounding areas are said to have been shut down by Los Angeles police as the hunt for the suspect begins. The studio is popular among music figures, including Madonna, Justin Bieber and Justin Timberlake.

This isn’t the first time Rich the Kid has been the victim of armed robbery. Last summer, he was injured during a home invasion.
