Harry Styles wears pastel nail polish to Gucci Cruise 2020 show and Instagram loves it
‘Thank you for blessing us with Harry’s beautiful hand’
Harry Styles has demonstrated his proclivity for bold fashion trends on multiple occasions in recent years, donning a sheer "Camp"-inspired look at this year's Met Gala and wearing a variety of eccentric outfits for his 2017-2018 world tour.
On Tuesday 28 May, the singer attended the star-studded Gucci Cruise 2020 show at the Capitolini Museum in Rome, wearing a 1970s-style white suit with flared trousers designed by Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele.
While Styles's ensemble has drawn praise on social media, one of the stand-out features of his look was his pink and blue nail art.
Jenny Longworth, a London-based nail artist, shared a photo on Instagram of the pastel shades she painted on Styles's nails in preparation for the runway show.
Several of Longworth's followers expressed their delight in the singer's nail colour choices.
"Thank you for creating magiccc," one person commented underneath the picture.
"I need to know what brand these are!!!! So lovely," another remarked.
A fan of Styles thanked Longworth for "blessing us with Harry's beautiful hand", while another requested a video of the nail artist painting the singer's nails.
While at the Gucci Cruise 2020 fashion show, Styles was pictured alongside actors Zoe Saldana and Salma Hayek carrying a black and gold clutch bag and wearing rose-tinted sunglasses.
Michele used the show as an opportunity to make a pro-choice political statement, amid the recent wave of anti-abortion laws in the US.
A selection of the garments featured in the collection were embroidered with phrases and imagery associated with the pro-choice movement.
A navy jacket worn by a model down the runway was embossed with the slogan: "My body, my choice", while a T-shirt included in the range featured the message: "Chime for Change".
The Italian fashion house launched its "Chime for Change" gender equality campaign in 2013, an initiative which has raised thousands for projects raising awareness of reproductive and maternal health in various countries around the world.
Harry Styles' new campaign for Gucci Tailoring
Show all 6Last week, Gucci unveiled its latest men's tailoring collection campaign, featuring Styles.
Styles, who was made the face of Gucci Tailoring in June 2018, wears a variety of striking suits in the campaign, while posing alongside a swan, a piglet and ancient Roman-esque busts.
