House of Fraser: The full list of stores due to close
A vote took place today to determine whether the 31 stores will definitely close
In June this year, House of Fraser announced that it’s preparing to close 31 of its 59 branches across the UK in an effort to keep the business going.
A vote took place on June 22 among creditors of the retailer in order to determine whether House of Fraser can follow through with its plans.
“Whilst closing stores is a very difficult decision, especially given the length of relationship House of Fraser has with all its locations, there should be no doubt that it is absolutely necessary if we are to continue to trade and be competitive,” said chairman Frank Slevin.
