'This is a sham court only listening to the dirty prosecutor!' British woman jailed for slapping immigration officer in Bali accuses officers of torturing her

A British woman has been jailed after she was caught on video slapping an immigration official in Bali after she missed her flight.

Auj-e Taqaddas was sentenced to six months in prison after footage of the confrontation was shared widely online last year.

She had missed her flight due to an expired visa.

The footage appears to show the 43-year-old throwing a lengthy tantrum after being asked to pay a fine of about £3,500 for overstaying.

She is then seen to slap the male official across the face.

Taqaddas was charged with violent behaviour against a government official, but pleaded not guilty.

During her trial, which began in December, she claimed the video had been edited.

She announced she would appeal her sentence.
