Every cloud has a silver lining.
So when Holly Walsh jumped off Worthing Pier in a homemade flying machine and broke her arm, she also wound up with the material for her first stand-up show, The Hollycopter. It earned the one-time BBC children's television presenter a Best Newcomer nod at the Edinburgh Fringe last year. Next month, Dead Boss, a macabre new sitcom she co-wrote with Sharon Horgan, airs on BBC3, starring Jennifer Saunders as a psychotic prison guard.
