Unless you were heavily invested in American politics, chances are you had absolutely no idea who Kellyanne Conway a year ago.

However, after running Donald Trump’s successful presidential campaign, Conway has been named Counselor to the President, thrusting her into the spotlight.

Although Trump has only been President for five days, Conway’s already made headlines for the wrong reasons, her ‘alternative facts’ statement being particularly controversial.

On a lighter note, Conway’s stand-up routine for the “Funniest Celebrity in Washington D.C.” contest in 1998 has resurfaced.

The 11 minute 35-second long clip features Conway, then Kellyanne Fitzpatrick, joking about why her leg’s in a cast. Yes, she makes numerous “break a leg” jokes.

What follows is an extended segment on being a “pundette," a term used to describe female pundits, including herself Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham and Maureen Dowd.

At the end of the clip, Conways drapes herself with a feather boa and sings her own a cappella song "I've got the pundit blues.” Watch below.

Meanwhile, Trump's press secretary Sean Spicer has been ridiculed across the Internet after his bizarre Daft Punk Tweets from 2014 resurfaced.
