The first trailer for Like Crazy, the winner of the Sundance Festival's Best Picture and Best Actress jury awards, was released this week.
This story of long-distance romance follows a British college student who falls for an American student but is banned from the US when she overstays her visa.
The indie film stars Anton Yelchin ( Star Trek), Felicity Jones ( Brideshead Revisited) and Jennifer Lawrence ( Winter's Bone and upcoming The Hunger Games).
Like Crazy won the the Grand Jury Prize for director Drake Doremus, who also wrote the film, and the the Special Jury Prize went to Felicity Jones. The acting in this indie film was primarily improvised.
The mood is similar to Blue Valentine, which received Oscar nominations for Best Actor and Actress. Ingrid Michaelson's cover of Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling In Love" that plays behind the trailer, though, is not on the soundtrack.
The film releases October 28 in the US and in the UK February 3.
