Aziz Ansari narrates BBC documentary Planet Earth thanks to Netflix glitch

Aziz Ansari has channelled his David Attenborough without even realising it.

A supposed Netflix glitch has seen the subtitles for one of the comedian's stand-up shows transposed onto BBC documentary Planet Earth.

According to Reddit user Benmeiri84, a friend was watching Aziz Ansari: Live at Madison Square Garden when they noticed the subtitles were hilariously off.

The friend took screenshots of the streaming service's glitch which gave new life to the beloved nature series.

The resulting images led to many gems including a wily-looking fox appearing to say: "Bought the wrong toothbrush. Should've done more research" and a wolf, perched alone on a rock, saying: "Yeah, so I'm at the club, minding my own business, right?"

This being Reddit, it's possible that the screenshots have been faked - however, such glitches have been known to occur and the original post is yet to be taken down (which is always a good sign).

Planet Earth originally aired on the BBC in 2006. Aziz Ansari's Netflix series Master of None will return for a second season in 2017.
