(Jimmy Kimmel Show)

Back to the Future Day was a big deal. A really, really big deal. A lot happened: Nike gave Michael J Fox a pair of self-lacing Mags, David Cameron made a DeLorean joke and a lot of themed weddings took place.

Somehow, Jimmy Kimmel managed to get Fox and co-star Christopher Lloyd to pretend to be Marty and Doc Brown arriving in the actual 2015.

“Doc, I thought you said the future was… good?” says Marty.

“I did, I believe we may have inadvertently travelled into an alternate 2015 where human evolution has been stopped by superfluous technology,” replies Doc. Watch below.

“They call them hoverboards, but they’re not hoverboards,” quips Kimmel.

Lloyd made a separate appearance as Doc on Back to the Future Day, appearing seated in the DeLorean to give a heartwarming message to fans about writing their own future.
