Mission Impossible 5: Ving Rhames confirmed to return
Actor will reprise his role of expert computer hacker Luther Stickell
Ving Rhames will be back alongside Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner in Mission: Impossible 5, it has been confirmed.
Director Christopher McQuarrie announced his return on Twitter, writing: "Welcome back, Mr. Rhames".
Rhames has appeared in all four previous movies as former IMF computer hacker Luther Stickell, the only cast member aside from Tom Cruise (Ethan Hawke) to do so.
Pegg and Renner will also return, joined by newcomer Rebecca Ferguson (Hercules).
Alec Baldwin is rumoured to be in talks for the film, which will be written by Drew Pearce (Iron Man 3).
Cruise previously revealed that it will film in London and Vienna.
Mission: Impossible V opens in the US on Christmas Day, 2015 and in the UK on Boxing Day, 2015.
