Robert Pattinson's Reddit AMA was a rollercoaster of emotions

The actor jumped on the site in order to promote his new film Good Time, which first premiered at Cannes

A Reddit AMA, in short, is basically a brief psychoanalytical case study of its subject.

Armed with all but a keyboard and the ever-mounting pressure presented by an endless set of questions, a celebrity's furious trip through answer after answer often ends up being a surprisingly illuminative experience.

And, if Robert Pattinson's AMA is anything to go by, the dude seems like a pretty cool guy to hang out with. Answering queries with a refreshingly honest approach, Pattinson managed to combine nihilism, enthusiasm, and just general politeness all in one rollercoaster of a thread.

Here's what we learnt: rosé is his go-to drink, he thinks his life outside of acting "sucks", he thinks about joining social media "only in dark moments", he'd love to work with Charlotte Rampling, he's a Picked Onion Monster Much kind of guy, and if he could be any Game of Thrones character he'd choose Hodor.

The actor hopped on Reddit to promote his latest film Good Time, directed Ben and Josh Safdie, which unfolds over the course of a single night in New York City, as Pattinson plays a man desperate for cash after a botched robbery sees his brother end up in jail.

Shot in luridly neon-style, Good Time features original music from both OneOhTrix Point Never and Iggy Pop. The film also stars Benny Safdie, Barkhad Abdi, and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
