Ryan Reynolds has been on promotional circuit touting Deadpool 2, travelling the world over to showcase the upcoming superhero sequel.

Perhaps the strangest appearance so far was on the Korean singing competition show King of Mask Singer (also translated as Mask King) where the actor performed a cover of “Tomorrow” from the musical Annie, all while wearing a white unicorn mask and matching cape.

Below you can watch Reynolds perform the song – but that’s only half the story. Following the admirable rendition, the 41-year-old then removes the mask, the audience and judges erupting into applause.

“Hello everybody, I’m so sorry about that song,” the actor says, before asking “Donald Trump?” One judge then apologises, before another compliments Reynolds on the 2006 movie Smokin’ Aces.

Meanwhile, Deadpool 2 has been receiving positive reviews, many critics praising the movie as “better than the first”. Read a round-up of the consensus here.

Deadpool 2 reaches UK cinemas today.
