Fans of Jordan Peele ‘s Us may be surprised to learn the horror film has a connection to TV’s Friends .
Twins Cali and Noelle Sheldon, 16, star in the film as Becca and Lindsey Tyler, the daughters of Elisabeth Moss and Tim Heidecker’s characters Kitty and Josh.
However, they also played Ross and Rachel’s baby Emma in seasons nine and 10 of Friends . Us marks their first major onscreen role since the TV series.
Us scored the highest grossing opening weekend for an original horror, generating $70 million (£53 million).
The record was previously held by A Quiet Place , which debuted to $50.2 million (£38 million) at the US box-office.
