The world of Nathalie (Audrey Tautou, below) is rosy with her dishy husband and decent job; then hubby gets knocked down by a truck. Three years on her career is thriving but she's still mourning.
Her (too) smooth boss comes on to her, but Nathalie plumps for snogging a lumbering Swede, Markus (François Damiens), in a terrible jumper instead. The mismatch in looks is well-handled here, Damiens is excellent as clumsy Markus and there are several nifty visual flourishes. After a mundane start, Delicacy turns out to be rather lovely.
