Disney's groovy, laid-back take on the Sherwood Forest outlaw and his merry men benefits from the voices of Peter Ustinov and the inimitable Terry-Thomas as villains Lion Prince John and his hench-snake, Sir Hiss. This 1973 animation, which was released just after Walt's demise, does feel somewhat dated but it has enough wit (“Oh, poppycock. Female bandits? What next? Rubbish”) and vim to more than compensate.
