Yi Seung-jun 's tender documentary is the stuff to make you count your blessings. It tells of disability endured and, if not exactly overcome, then heroically accommodated.

Young-chan, a thirtyish Korean deaf and blind since birth, can only communicate with the world through touch. He reads with an electronic Braille machine, and "hears" what others are saying via a finger-tapping code, yet despite these limitations he keeps fit with running, writes and directs plays, and goes for cheering walks with his wife Soon-Ho, herself disabled with a spinal condition.

The concerted effort of husband and wife to change a fluorescent light fixture in their living-room is improbably touching: a small victory in a life of cruel disadvantage. If this doesn't teach you a little about patience and gratitude, nothing will.
