The second most-streamed FIFA 20 player has been banned from Electronic Arts’ entire catalogue after sending ”abusive and threatening messages”.

Kurt Fenech, known as “Kurt0411” on Twitch, was filmed spitting on the EA company logo and saying “f*** you, EA.”

The Malta-based streamer also reportedly told another competitor to “suck [his] b***s”, calling him a “son of a b****”.

In a statement posted on Twitter, EA, who publish the popular football simulator franchise, claimed that Fenech had made ”abusive and threatening messages and videos about EA employees and competitive players on social media, and he has encouraged others to do the same.”

Responding to the ban, Fenech remained defaint, insisting: “I have never said anything I shouldn’t have. This is just deeper than anyone thinks.”

“They didn’t want me competing at events cos they were scared I’d win them, now I’m the second biggest streamer of their game and they’re scared I’ll overtake their golden boy.”

FIFA is one of the gaming industry’s more lucrative eSports, with Fenech himself having won tens of thousands of pounds in prize money from the game.
